Graveyard Street Race - Colour Version 1

Here's a limited palette coloured version that is very dramatic. I will probably also do a full colour "old, distressed comic book" version when I get time.

This was inked with a Raphael 8408 #3 brush and Speedball Super Black ink. I used a bit of archival marker for the lines in the hotrod grill and on the windshield but it's about 98% brush and ink. Then scanned, and coloured in Photoshop.

The person who commissioned this is Mark Maia and, in addition to being an all-around cool guy and having great taste in art (obviously!), he is also a top-notch photographer. You can check out his stuff here: [link]
